Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities and play.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while adhering to dietary restrictions.
- Assist with homework and educational activities to promote learning.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children at all times.
- Communicate regularly with parents about child’s progress and daily activities.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to foster a positive atmosphere.
- Organize outings and recreational activities to encourage social skills.
- Be flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the family.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a nanny or child care provider is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a nurturing demeanor.
- Ability to create engaging and educational activities for children.
- References from previous families or employers are required.
- Must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework in child development is a plus.
